Parents' Association

All parents of current FCCDS students are welcomed as members of the Parents’ Association. The Parents’ Association strives to enhance the FCCDS by providing communication and activities in support of our students, families, faculty and administration. This very active group seeks to develop a positive and welcoming climate for all parents, keeps parents abreast of school events and works closely with the school in meeting its current needs. The FCCDS Parents’ Association and its activities are funded by the $50 per family fee charged at the beginning of each school year. Parents’ Association activities include a variety of extra-curricular student activities, as well as family and faculty events. There are also fundraising events undertaken throughout the year. One hundred percent (100%) of all proceeds from our fundraising efforts benefit the FCCDS Operating Fund and/or Annual Giving Fund.

The Parents’ Association includes a leadership group consisting of a President, Vice-President, Vice President of Communications, Community Involvement, and Past President Advisor. There are also room parents and various committees in which parents volunteer or participate. The Parents’ Association offers opportunities for every parent to become involved in school activities.
